The Matrix Unleashed is a MultiPlayer total conversion for Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy. It is based on the Matrix trilogy by the Wachowski-brothers, and it will include most of the scenes from within the Matrix, as well as the characters, weapons, a new heads-up dispay (HUD), new menus, and hopefully bunches of new moves, an improved melee-system, bullet-dodging/stopping, flying-ability, agent-fighting, and much more.
There will only be scenes from within the Matrix, ergo, not from Zion, nor from the Machine City.
Prepare to jack in!

And then, as Neo and Morpheus are done, we also need some professional voice acting for them. Not too much, simple grunts of pain, some taunt-sounds, anger-sounds and alike will do.

School is, like always, in our way, but I ordered a book in C programming the other day, and I'm currently waiting for it to arrive. Still, some good people to help out with the programming of the mod would be immensely appreciated.
The same goes, of course, to modelers.

I have experimented with the awesome Matrix_Reloaded_final.bsp map in the famous clone duel park, by spawning hundreds of puncher Smiths and fighting them as Neo using the "iknokungfu" code for moves. It worked great cuz if one sensed me in the small basketball court behind the plaza, several would take a humongous leap over the fence, and it looked really cool, they also did the absorb thingy. If u click both mouse buttons and there are a whole bunch around u, u do an awesome bullet time spin kick that knocks back everyone around u, just like in the movie, (and it looks cool ;-)). U can also sometimes jumps from person to person, beating them up.
Saber fighting works well too. I believe there's a pipe model out there u guys can use unless ur doing ur own. Either way, ur probably going to want 2 change the Dismember property in the .sab file to zero, and set a high knockback value.
does this work with the dmeo version that includes like the first 2 missions?? :D

Yeah, the dodging is possible, and will be added, but not the slow-motion parts
I think the bullet time effect would be possible. As if you remember when you a jedi you sometimes dodge a sniper shot by moving really fast... so i'm sure you could make an adaption of that.
Oh, and it is possible to add a bullet dodging ability that does not require bullet time (bullet time = slow motion + camera rotation). The player just have to react quick enough, lol.
Well, I don't think we will have bullet-time, at least not for the time being. I know it would be possible (ever tried the HalfLife mod called "The Specialists"?), but it would require alot more coding than I am able to do.
