The Matrix Unleashed is a MultiPlayer total conversion for Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy. It is based on the Matrix trilogy by the Wachowski-brothers, and it will include most of the scenes from within the Matrix, as well as the characters, weapons, a new heads-up dispay (HUD), new menus, and hopefully bunches of new moves, an improved melee-system, bullet-dodging/stopping, flying-ability, agent-fighting, and much more.
There will only be scenes from within the Matrix, ergo, not from Zion, nor from the Machine City.
Prepare to jack in!

Hmm... Upgrades

Yeah, yeah,
I'm terribly sorry for having completely abandoned this outpost, but it's starting to get somewhat many of them. Thanks to Szico VII for reminding me, however =)

So, onto the news:
- New screenshots added
- Neo and Morpheus is done
- Morpheus' katana seen in Matrix Reloaded is done

And then, as Neo and Morpheus are done, we also need some professional voice acting for them. Not too much, simple grunts of pain, some taunt-sounds, anger-sounds and alike will do.

School is, like always, in our way, but I ordered a book in C programming the other day, and I'm currently waiting for it to arrive. Still, some good people to help out with the programming of the mod would be immensely appreciated.
The same goes, of course, to modelers.

I have great respect for you guys on the modding team and I would like to help any way I can. If you are in need of high quality, custom taunts for the characters, I have a huge, (I mean like 28-30 sounds), taunt collection for Smith, because after downloading a nice looking Agent Smith skin, I was disappointed to discover that it only had one lame taunt with an evil laugh. I took matters into my own hands and scoured the web for high quality quotes from the movie, converted and renamed them, and placed them in the .pk3. Now, it is greatly enhanced. The gloat is really cool because when u die, he says, "You had your time, Morpheus. Now it's our time..."

Suggestions:

* See what u might be able to do with the Force Absorb effect to create Smith's melding thing when he copies himself.

* Is it possible to create an npc which can use other melee attacks besides punching, like Kyle can? This could GREATLY improve game dynamics.

* If someone could find a nice file of when Smith sez, "Everything has a beginning and an end, Neo." that would be awesome! ;-)

O and by the way, I also made several great npc files for Smith which rock. He jumps around a lot, dodges most bullets in bullet time, and the pistol toting version of him wields two pistols that are fired like machine-gun rapid, which creates a super-cool effect.

* I used to have a neat little mod that changed the pistol grip to a two-handed grip which looked a lot better, kind of like a swat guy or something.

About me:

Anyway, I'm a 13-year old nerd who likes basic modding. I can skin a bit, I have Blender, and can do some stuff w/ it, but I really can't model worth s***, I have reasonable experience in programming B.A.S.I.C., and have written several games in it, I can make nice menus and/or GUIs w/ Adobe Photoshop and Visual Basic, I know basic html editing and I can do MySQL Databasing. I am trying to learn some Java.

If JKA scripting isn't head-splittingly hard, I could probably understand it enough to do some scripting for effects and stuff. I don't understand JKRadiant tho, but I have mapped fairly welll for SWBF. I can texture and do very basic modelling. If u need help on plots and enemy placement, I can definitely help.
