Hi, let me know if the editor doesn't work with it. I'll try to update in on the weekend if needed.

I lost all my stuff in containers. All loot on location was updated.

Doubt it's because of the editor since it doesn't touch any scene data, but I'll look into it.

Hi, I'll update it when I have time, it might be a while. In the meantime, if someone with programming knowledge want to help out, the source code is here: Github.com

Hello!
When my Improvised Hatchet was ruined during a wolf struggle, I used the save editor to restore it back up to 100%. It went well, but while I was repairing some other items, I noticed in the repair menu it said "condition_cap 100%".

I don't want this annoying message on my screen, and want to know how to remove it, So if you could help me on that, Thanks

Hi, thanks for the report! Could you send me your save file so I can more easily debug the issue?

Whoops, Forgot to Sign In! Anyway, can you explain to me how to do that? I’m don’t want anything to be corrupted or anything. It’s my longest game yet :)

Hi, on windows your save files are stored in C:\Users\YOUR_USERNAME\AppData\Local\Hinterland\TheLongDark
Just copy the save file and upload it to dropbox, google drive etc and send me the link.

FINDarkside, is it possible to make the save editor work while playing? Like trainer for example.

It's possible and would be an interesting project, but I just don't have time for that. Much simpler way would be to make a mod for TLD that does whatever you need. Is there something you need that UMod doesn't provide? It has dev console which you can use to add items, and you can duplicate items in inventory with + key, repair with 0 etc. If you don't like the other features of UMod, they can be turned off in the config file.

Can't add water, neither type is in food list.
Can't add cooking pots .etc that currently show up in "unknown" if picked up in game.

I had a problem with my save from story mode and I'm trying to recreate my inventory for episode 2, which is why I'm noting this stuff, just FYI.

Hi, I don't think this works at all with the newest TLD version, I advise you to not use it until it's updated. Your inventory contains water source, select the item and you can set the amount of water.
