Version 1.0 of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. The Journey is available.
How to install :
- Unzip.
- Install ReShade option (improves overall lighting, colors, ambiance). Copy the content of ReShade_option/bin to S.T.A.L.K.E.R. - The Journey\bin.
- Install translation if needed. Copy the content of the language folder to gamedata.
- Launch Stalker-COP.exe

Background story :
Years have passed since the faction left the zone. Only small humain groups remain here and there, competing or collaborating.
Resources are lower, but some items can be found in hidden stashes.
Mutants have slightly evolved and many of them are more dangerous now.
Nature has changed and decayed, under the influence of deadly radiations
Gameplay :
There is no minimap and no icons showing where objectives are located.
To unfold the story you have to interact with NPCs, everything you need can be found through dialogues.
It's not an issue if you miss some information, you can always progress on your own.
NPC are a lot better at spotting you, they can see and hear you from afar, be careful. They also move more in combats and are better at gunfights.
If you are lost or if you want to make sure you don't miss anything, you have a full walkthrough in the root folder.

Awesome, going to try it asap. One thing though "NPCs are alot better at spotting you" I hope this is not going to be AREA style NPCs that had aimbots, no recoil and could see you even through small objects like concrete blocks.

The mod crashes every time I try to enter the Cursed Village via the Dumping Ground.
I have the same problem too...
Try switching your "Render type" to Enhanced Full Dyn. Lighting (Dx10), hanged a bit in the loading screen but it worked for me.
Do I need original COP to play this mod or it is standalone?

Thank you. Did you try to change lighting in the game?, after I changed lightning from static to dynamic mod doesn't star and it's a "green-bug" crash always.

I have a problem.
I can't go to Cursed Village because the game crash every time.
every time I try to change render from "Static" to something "Dynamic" mod won't start and I get "green-bug" crash, and I can't launch mod anymore(

No problems until returning from Yantar tunnels with Beryll suit - Raven won't speak, other than Hello, so can't get backup request mission.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

What's up with the lighting setting causing a green bug crash ?
is there a spawn menu you can use?
Playing through and enjoying the mod at the moment however came across a mission bug. I already picked up the radio transmitter part in the tunnels, before getting the mission of Croc to go back and fetch it, and despite going through the unlocked shortcut he wont let me give him it.
Great job with that mod. Inspiring idea, actually, and the dialogues in French are simply amazing! Not to mention the NPCs, the mechanics...as Frenchies would say that: très bon travail. Je souhaite voir d'autres de vos modifications à l'avenir !

So, as far as I can tell from these comments, there are some gamebreaking bugs here and there. Any news about a patch? I will gladly wait until then before starting the game.
