Middle-Earth was a small part of Arda, so different troll species can 'existed'. As in the wildlife.
You guys not only produce the best looking designs but are also are fountain of knowledge... I didn't know that Jungle-troll existed!
It really looks like they have adapted to jungle environment if you look at the color of skin and the natural scales(?) covering them.

There are faction plans, but we haven't made our plans for new creeps and map hazards public yet. I'm currently writing a little compendium on AotR-lore, though.

Jungle-trolls will likely be skulking around some new maps in the coming update, yes!
I hope these trolls will be part of the Harad faction, at least as spells(captive trolls)
