Thanks, but I could not have done this if it wasn't for your original work on the Dale structures and textures.

For anyone interested, these are Mathijs' Dale structures.

Thanks Evo, although it was hard to pick up the motivation to finish the Citadel, it's a very large building!

First time I thought you are hungarian, because 'magyar' means 'hungarian' in our language :D

Usually Western Europeans use the word hungarian and its versions. There are legends that hungarians are descendants of the huns, but probably it isn't true. There was no genetic connection between even ancient hungarians and huns, culture was similar. The great conqueror Attila had a territory in the Carpathians, but hungarians arrived later to this area (9th century AD) But as wikipedia says, the word hungarian probably originated from the word 'onogur'(ancient turkic nomadic tribes). Although hungarians weren't turkic people (most probably). Originally they came from the Ural mountains but later they became nomads and they lived with turkic people too, adopted their war tactics , clothing and nomadic culture, so when hungarians arrived to the Carpathians, Europeans thought they are turks. Ancient hungarians and hungarian origin is a very disputed topic even in Hungary, but this is the most probably version.

Thank you kingjewel! So far, I have not heard from an foreign to know hungarian history.

I'm sorry I did not write english, but I was very surprised now.

I am hungarian too :p
Yes, there is a hungarian legend about two brothers, Hunor and Magor, and as the legend said, Hunor was the ancestor of the huns, and Magor was the ancestor of the hungarians. But it's just a legend.
What is sure: the uralic origin, but it is genetic connection too or just language it haven't been decided yet. Most probably ancient hungarians had central asian genes too, but it weren't dominant.

Yes, there is an another theory that hungarians always had lived in the Carpathians, personally I think it isn't too probable.
Our closest language relatives (mansi and hanti) live in the Ural, so once the hungarians had to live there too. I think this not too logical, that hungarians moved to the east from the Carpathian Basin and then they returned again.
