This mod is the original WW1 mod for BF1942. I did not create this, the TGW Team did.
The Great War is a WWI modification for Battlefield 1942 that stays reasonably realistic and historically accurate, while holding to their prime directive, Fun. It features distinct WW1 equipment and units such as the Fokker D.1 and Sopwith Camel biplanes, the MG08 and Lewis machine guns, the Lee-Entfield and G98 rifles, and much more.

So this is the mod I played in 2014. The zeppelins, man, they are big (no Freud, pls).
Honestly a decent mod, I enjoy playing it almost more than 1918. Almost. But I do wish it had more maps. I can't get the battlefield tools to work under wine, or I'd make some myself.
Me not, maybe is the operative system.

Could be this mod works only with an older Online Patch?
Got 1918, they bring at the next couple of days the new 3.1 update, you will find it here in Moddb.
