The Great War mod is a total conversion modification for Napoleon: Total War. It creates an authentic representation of World War 1-era tactics, strategies and general warfare within the game. Including stunning new visuals that include entirely new models and textures for equipment, vehicles and more, the mod immerses you into the era with brand new gameplay unlike anything you've experienced in Total War before.

Are they still permanantly wedded to the ottomans in the grand campaign?

Yes. There is no way any modders can add regions or change region borders to insert Bulgaria into the Rumelia region.

What country is next? Spain, Belgium, USA, Greece? Also, the Trench Warfare Era Bulgarian Infantry have some odd-looking puttees. Like, white socks with the part of the Roman legionnary sandal that wraps around the calf part of the leg. Anyways, great work and effort, as always.

They are wearing tsarvuli, traditional Bulgarian peasant shoes (similar to the opanci worn in the rest of the Balkans and Anatolia), with thick woolen socks. The Kingdom of Bulgaria was a poor country, so soldiers had to make do with these.

It's getting close isn't it! My personal prediction is that USA is next as that's the other smaller job for the creators. Then I predict Belgium, Greece and the finale is on Spain.

BDIZZLE356 A few weeks ago you said that you guys would be creating a lower resolution version of TGW VI for people that do not have the best computers/laptops. How long would it take, and will it be uploaded to this site on the same day that the normal TGW VI will be uploaded?

Are all of these units recruitable for the Ottomans in campaign?

No, for custom battles they have a full unit roster but in the campaign there will only be a few units you can recruit as the Ottomans.

I still think ya'll should replace the term "old" with "early", confuses me still sometimes what Infantry (old means) unless Old means veterans, but then what are Elite (old)

I second that. Ive always thought "early" and "late" would be the most appropriate terms

Some comments on infantry old. The Cuffs and collar should be dark blue and piped red. Pouches should be M88/15 ammo pouches(all units). All Bulgarian Shalhelms must be blue-grey. For all officers collar should be piped black. For reservists coat shoulder boards and tabs should be red(no button on tab). Band on general's should only be black if he is in Artillery or engineers. A all green m15 officer's cap would be best for general. Everything else is pretty good, some other minor things.

This is a reenacting site for Bulgarian kit, should help.

People figured out how to edit the map to divide existing regions and add new regions inside blank areas on the map in empire total war, please consider editing rumelia to get bulgaria for us.
