Wow, it has been a long time! Most of the team has been busy with exams (remember! We're mostly university students, but here is a long overdue image update with some WIP Russians (the backpacks are going).

Looking good, only thing I'd suggest is working on the long coat's texture some more. Right now the bottom of it kinda looks like a pleat skirt.
This is sadly the result of my sometimes impulsive texturing routine. Texturing the bottom half of long coats isn't fun and thus slides far down the to-do list (especially when you can do such awesome things as Budenovkas!). :P

Nop all russian infantry man have they hown personal weapon but they don't have he lot of ammunition.
He's probably referring to Enemy at the Gates where the Russians didn't have enough rifles to give to the recruits, so they were given a clip of ammo to use when the guy with a rifle was killed.
Actually I was reffering to that but Russian troops were not the best equipped in WWI. The Russians had to import a lot of rifles and did not have enough. Some men brought their own weapons but they just caused logistical problems.

Unit sizes are gonna be like... at LEAST 240-300 men right? impossible to rage a firs World War with just 120 men in a unit.

They are carrying Mosin rifle.
NO those are lee enfields, mosin nagants do not have a snub nose like that, this is a picture of a mosin nagant m91 from 1915.

Correct on them not being Mosin's but they aren't Lee enfields either, neither Lebel M1886 or Mauser rifles at that too.
Wrong they are lee enfields SMLE mk. III unless you have a better idea as to what they are
