The Great War is a modification for Company of Heroes meant to bring the war two decades earlier. This mod focuses on the later years of the First World War. Currently the two teams will be the British Expeditionary Force against the German Empire, however with time the team will try and bring some more nations in, such as France and Austria-Hungary. This mod will focus or realism but keep the game balanced enough to make it enjoyable. Things to look for in the mod are the famous artillery strikes and the infamous gas attacks. Trenches will provide vital cover for infantry while tanks will roll over the battlefield and instil fear into the enemy troops.

Where is the English version? I can't find it.(I have russian for some reason.)
There are no language versions. The mod will use your default CoH language setting automatically, which it appears would be Russian in your case (where exactly did you get your game?).
Band-aid solution: 1) go to your "..\Company of Heroes\tgw\Locale" folder. 2) copy tgw.English UCS from the English folder. 3) paste it in the Russian folder and rename it to tgw.Russian (replace the original UCS)

It doesnt work. When I start it, it tells me to insert the Opposing Fronts disk, even though I got it on Steam originally. And yes, I have the new Steam version installed.
Since the new steam version does not use the CDs, this means it's trying to open from an incorrect directory.
Make sure it got installed in the proper directory. For the new steam version it should be something like:
"C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Company of Heroes Relaunch"

my game language is eng but when i install this mod its language is in Russian how to change it in english.
There are three possibilities here:
1) stop playing a pirated version of CoH and go buy the game
2) go to your Company of Heroes folder, open Locale.ini. It will say "lang=Russian" in the second line. Change that to "lang=English " (your CoH is actually a Russian version disguised as English).
3) a. go to your "..\Company of Heroes\tgw\Locale" folder
b. copy tgw.English.UCS and RelicCoH.English.UCS from the English folder
c. paste them in the Russian folder and rename them tgw.Russian.UCS and RelicCoH.Russian.UCS (overwrite existing files)

Great Mod!
I just get irritated by the fact that when I use the Trenches, one guy will always run out of the Trench and get sniped.
And the infantry is so damned expensive on your manpower.
I dont have CoH:OF, just vanilla ;_;
So? The mod works with all CoH expansions. Code-wise CoH, CoH:OF and CoH:ToV are EXACTLY the same games. The only thing they do is unlock factions and campaigns.
You might want to get 1.1 instead of 1.0 though as the earlier version has a skirmish bug for vCoH and OF-only users.
