I remember a mod called Nova Aetas had a similar idea but it wasn't indepth like this where you had an actual tech tree. Have to say this is starting to become an amazing mod, if it gets ported to bannerlord in the far future, jesus will I be playing that game more.

How will AI factions handle research?
Factions will upgrade their technologies as the time passes by ( based on the year )
and the player has to spend money in order to upgrade the technology of his or her own faction.
