Thanks for releasing an Enlgish version!There are many fans of Gothic
from countries like Italy, Greece who do not speak German, Russian and Polish , that these three languages only available to most of Gothic mods without English translations :(
This looks damned awesome.. can anyone tell me though about these new mechanics? Shields are a new thing, right? Do they finally block monster attacks too? Is there dual wielding? What else? PM if others don't want that sort of stuff spoiled, but I'd really like to know early on what sorts of stuff there is before I make my standard 2h paladin build, heh. Much more fun if shields work properly, there is dw etc, to go 1handed..

I'm glad to see the English release, very glad. I gave it a quick test run, found a few technical issues, but nothing game-breaking. I do notice when starting a new game, some music plays over a black screen, and when leaving the temple in the beginning, there's the music that plays at the start of a new chapter, but the screen just turns black - are there supposed to be cinematics and splash screens showing up that aren't working for me?
Anyway, I'm gonna stream this and post it on YouTube as I take my maiden run through the game, and certainly make my viewers aware of it.
