THIS PROFILE IS NOT SAFE FOR WORK, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! The Forgotten is a single-player third-person survival horror game for Half-Life influenced by the likes of Silent Hill, Resident Evil, Forbidden Siren, Clive Barker's Hellraiser / Tortured Souls and Blood among other things. As private detective Jack Dawson, you will travel to the town of Pinewood Creek to investigate the disappearance of Claire Benton.
Unfortunately the main media release has been delayed till Christmas time, so I'm uploading a few new pieces of media to wet your appetite until them, note that this is all heavily WIP.
Here's a shot of the forest which has been improved with new textures and props. Don't worry about the black, this area will be shaded with black fog so show that it is actually nightime. I'm wondering about whether to keep the lamps or not, on one hand they provide extra eye candy and on the other, it'd probably be scarier if it's pitch black and only the flashlight lights the area.
The forest layout isn't finished yet so this is mainly a test, in-game this will join onto an old mine shaft which will allow Jack to navigate past a large blockade into Camp Diamond Lake.

Once again, reminds me of the area in Silent Hill 2 where you meet the first enemy and get your first weapon.
