Losing his parents during the holocaust to a mad man of a doctor. You're to play as Grobuskna Vladinov, 20 years after the incident that changed his life dramatically. Grobuskna receives an unknown phone call that'll start a journey that'll twist your mind...
TFO is approaching 3 years of existence.
Back in 2011 when the crappy version was released the image far down was the entrance to Schienzel's Mansion. And now in 2013 the entrance will be as the above picture.
Many changes have happened, I didn't want to give up on this mod when I released it in 2011. I'm sorry for have released such an empty mod without proper contents, details, acting, story, gameplay.
I'm doing my best to get you all satisfied with a great horror mod to be released soon this year!
Also, we need a modeler to make new npc's!
the new entrance is sexy !
I do agree, the new one looks way better than the old one 8D
Really nice improvement.
nice one!
Too few raindrops IMO.
moar rain!
So much creepier now.
MoOR Rain! :3
There is only one sort of rain in Hl2 and its episodes, so you can't give it "more" rain, or you have to make it yourself.
i think the biggest improvement is the light_environment, it has a much more realistic value now what gives source maps always a much higher realistic feeling. Other then that, it really does look much better qua trees etc also.
well done!
leon
(never knew by the way that a earlier version of this mod was already released in 2011).
Thanks everyone!
I actually modified the func_precipation back in 2012... Since the particles dragged down my performance. But now I'm using a more optimized and small particle so I'll change it back. Also the rain itself looks less dense in my screenshot than it is in-game lol. :c
And @SPY-maps I guess its better that you didn't know that an earlier version was released lol... All I can say, don't try it! :3
Awesome job. Been watching this for a long time. It's been coming together very nicely.
Great to hear from you Paul! Happy to see that you're still following our mod! :)
I think I prefer the first.
