In 1945 japan set sail a boat carrying a deadly weapon perfected by their scientists, one that would serve as a last defiant strike against the Americans. This was Japans fail safe, if they were to fall so would their adversaries. Following the devastating Hiroshima and Nagasaki bombings this ship started its voyage across the ocean, a new kind of kamikaze attack. However the boat would never reach its target and would be forgotten to time by the few people that knew of its existence.

Years passed and in 1968 an American deep sea exploration outfit came across an almost untouched cargo boat sunken at the bottom of the ocean, they boarded and subsequently met the same fate as the original crew; the weapon had leaked. The boat was nothing more than an encased tomb of the deadly viral weapon. Yet another oceanic vessel was lost to this mystery, met with the same unknown fate as the original voyage.

A few months pass, this missing exploration the subject of much international coverage and conspiracy theories, The vastness and unknown of the ocean captivating the world in the same way as stories such as the Bermuda triangle. The 2 lost boats have washed up on a Japanese beach, still attached and still carrying this deadly plague. Many people are exposed to it subsequently and its only a matter of time before it spreads further. Japan has brought upon its own downfall unknowingly and perhaps all of mankinds.

Its been 15 years since then, mankind has lost much in that time, populations ravaged, countries mere broken reflections of their former selves; governments have fallen and given way to new, more radical beliefs and men in a time when the world is teetering on the edge. Even during this unstable time, the sabres of war still rattle and broken, splintered armies are raised to fight once more just like they did decades prior when the catalyst for all of this was birthed. The neon lights are fading and in their place lies a much darker world.
