The Eridanus Insurrection is an Arma 3 Halo-based mod focused on the civil war between the United Nations Space Command (UNSC) and the Insurrectionists, various groups of rebel factions amongst the outer human colonies. This mod will include multiple factions, a wide variety of weapons and vehicles, and a custom made terrain (map) for you to play with. Now strap in and prepare to drop into Altis.
A video demonstration of some assets from the upcoming Halo-based Arma 3 mod, "The Eridanus Insurrection".
Note: The Gauss hog's recoil was meant to be a joke in the video, but it seems serious combined with the music. It will be lowered, I promise. Fire from vehicles in the back of the Pelican is also present right now.
So AWESOME. looks like the pelican flies quite well now. But is there a way to make the drop pod fall automatically? It was kind of weird when it was staying in the middle of the air. Keep up the good job :)
Probably still in air due to it not being done mate, its a demo of what they have at least 50% done I'm sure.. still have to fix bugs etc. If its not a bug then add script to make sure it falls completely
Why would the drop pod fall automaticly. It makes no sense. You get in the drop pod, and when your ready, the clamps release, and the pod falls down the chute, and out from the ship's drop bay.
It was probably done for testing purposes
I mean, if it dropped automatically then you have a big chance of missing the drop window- (chance to actually land at the target.)
me gusta
Thats one sweet flyer! Excellent work!
SOOOO COOOL! can not wait for long swords and hornets
You left your aircraft facing the wrong way !! I'm not proud of you !! ^^
Awesome work as always, keep it up !
PS: I don't think the gauss cannon's recoil is so ridiculous... Just a bit too much but it could stay big ;p
it shouldnt have any to begin with, its a railgun; they dont generate recoil
My bad, you're right.
But an enormous explosive gun could have this recoil without being ridiculous ^^
The fact that the engines are angled based on the orientation of the aircraft, rather than the maneuver you're doing kinda looks wrong. In other words, ideally they would only rotate/twist as you pitch/roll/yaw, then return to normal. That's just my opinion anyway, other than that, awesome work.
