The Eridanus Insurrection is an Arma 3 Halo-based mod focused on the civil war between the United Nations Space Command (UNSC) and the Insurrectionists, various groups of rebel factions amongst the outer human colonies. This mod will include multiple factions, a wide variety of weapons and vehicles, and a custom made terrain (map) for you to play with. Now strap in and prepare to drop into Altis.
This shows the ways that the MA5 rifle will be able to be used in game.
The "ammo counter" electronics suite will operate the same way as a fixed power scope.

That's ******* brilliant.
Nice work.
Thank you!
Genius, Bravo to you sir.
Thank you very much!
Holy **** that's epic, now watch 343I find this and copy it for halo 5 since they have ADS in the game now.
Halo 5 doesn't necessarily have ADS,but every weapon can now be fired from the zoom. Technically, the Spartans never used the scopes on their guns anyways IIRC, it was smart-linked to their HUDs. The BR in H5 does use ADS, but the AR will just be a smartlinked scope on the HUD, like the Pistol had in Halo CE, ODST, Reach, 4,etc.
It would be kinda cool to attach the Battle Rifle/DMR's scope to the AR in this mod.
Halo 5. Yuck.
But about attaching the scopes to the AR, you can and you WILL.
Realistic iron sight! great design.
Love how you fixed the iron sight... issue xD
Iron sight...nice! I always wondered how those people in Halo aimed without any sights...
The weapon is linked with the helmet, and creates a reticle in the helmet's HUD, kinda like planes, sort of. I think lol
Awesome work! cant wait for this to come out!
Any plans to make the flashlight detach too?
Also, awesome work. It's really cool to see the tech we all know from the games fleshed out like this, it makes it so much more believable.
EDIT: without the ammo counter, it kind of looks like the shotgun! I like it!
