The first Single Player level for the Equilibrium is out. This mission is for the Seafarer race and shows off a few of their units and heroes.

Although there's only one download spot at the moment as soon as we can we will be setting up more download links. Here's an excerpt from the readme:
The Seafarer City, Port Bristol a hideout for many pirates and other scum is unexpectedly under attack by a new foe. A few of the pirates and adventurers who reside in the city take a stand against the raiders and attempt to repel them.

It's really nice... but why does the Captain has the TrueShot aura??? It's a bit useless at that point... maybe the unholy aura would be better :rolleyes:

Surely, the hardest thing (and really important) in a mod is the balance... so selecting the skills to the heroes is pretty hard...

I don't know what are the limitations for Wacraft FT mods, I got some editors sometime ago, but I couldn't introduce myself to them properly... lack of patience.

If there's a possibility of creating a "TrueShot" which acts increasing the melee damage instead of the ranged, it would fit him greatly... that's just an overall comparison, as the Corsair does more damage than a Footman... so it looks like the main skill of a Pirate is to do damage... eh? ;)

You're going to have 8 races, right? Let's say each one would have at least 2 heroes... for good... you should create a table listing each hero and their skills, trying not to repeat any of them, and balancing them there.

A cool thing to do is to put a race as an antithesis of another... like you have the Paladin/Death Knight in the normal War3... I love that... oposing auras, skills... but with some points in common. That's cool 8)

Thanks for those comments, I'll have to try that table trick. I think that would definately help with balancing them all. I hope to release another level for that race, showing off the rest of the units for the Seafarer team. So Captain Peacock and Scurvy Johnson will be making a return!
