So those custom Squad Ui decals are not working as of now?

They are working, only inactive now. Well, let me explain something to you, standard indicator that you see on the screen is sewn into the code, you can change only the image of the indicator, this one: Media.moddb.com is a separate fx. I can make hundreds of icons with different images. My type of indicator has shortcomings: he does not scale when move camera up / down or group of indicators is not combined into one when you select set of units(engine functions simply do not allow you to restore functions of standard indicator). But it serves its purpose well: it helps me to quickly identify the desired unit on the battlefield.
Ok thanks for clearing things up. I will wait to see if in AS2 they have managed to alter the engine to enable individual squad icons for unique units.
