The Elder Scrolls: Total War 1.6 full version release. Installation instruction and changelog in description.
The Elder Scrolls: Total War v 1.6 standalone
Installation step by step:
- Draw The_Elder_Scrolls_1.6 folder from rar archive to your Medieval 2 Total War/mods folder
- Use TESTW Launcher to start mod (or The_Elder_Scrolls.bat if launcher doesn't work)
- If you want to disable ReallyBadAi - Click options in TESTW launcer and take a mark от Disable ReallyBadAi field, save.
- If you experience broken UI, delete battle.sd, shared.sd and strategy.sd in The_Elder_Scrolls_1.6/data/UI
V 1.6 changes (Some changes may not be taken into account due to the chaotic nature of the work specifically on this version):
UNITS:
- New sprites for House Dagoth and Black Marsh
- All missed unit icons and info cards have been added
- New cavalry unit for Cyrodiil Empire
- Blades are available for hire in the Imperial City and Cloud Ruler Temple
- Some units of House Telvanni have been reskined
- Orsinium heavy infantry reskined
- Valenwood light infantry reskined
- Draugr units reskined
- Shadowscales of Black marsh reskined and rebalanced
- A lot of units have been rebalanced, including units of Great Houses and pikemen
- New models for Divayth Fyr, Dagoth Ur and Neloth. Sotha Sil has been reskined
TEXTS:
- Most of text bugs fixed
CAMPAIGN:
- New settlement models for Ashlanders
- New settlement models for House Telvanni
- New spy model for Black Marsh
- The terrain of Black Marsh is partially modified: dense forests have been added
- Aldmeri Dominion AI became more aggressive
- Cyrodiil Empire AI became more aggressive
- House Dagoth AI became less aggressive
- Reduced rebel garrison in some settlements
- New steward for New Ebonheart
- New resources have been added
ARCHITECTURE:
- New architecture for Orcs, it can be used in custom battles
- New architecture for Telvanni and Valenwood
SOME FIXED BUGS:
- Oblivion and Undead units crush has been fixed
- Skaal script for Telvanni has been fixed
- Ald'Ruhn collision has been fixed

UI is Broken please fix, when possible.
One of the Guest's said to go into the mod folder and delete the 3 files located in [mods\The_Elder_Scrolls_1.6\data\ui] named battle.sd, shared.sd, strategy.sd. Temporary fix but it works thanks Guest (back them up just in case)

Can't hire archers from the Bowyer, only giving me the experience but no unit.
No Imperial heavy legionnaires either for swordsmen or cavalry. Or the standard legionnaire. Can only recruit light legionnaires and town guard even after fully upgrading

guys for fixing the problem of the white bars you have to go here [mods\The_Elder_Scrolls_1.6\data\ui] and delete three files named battle.sd, shared.sd, strategy.sd. That worked for me... now to the review of the patch.

You should wait for legion reform on 4th turn for Empire
i did. i have waited for the reforms but nothing, i have waited almost 20 turn and i have upgraded everything with cheats just for testing but nothing, some units like the great swords, or the legionaries with heavy plate are not there. they are in the custom battle selection but not in the campaign (i'm talking about the empire) and the last patch the 1.5 didn't had this problem, i can try to redownload the patch but more than that i can do nothing, please fix

Why when i launch it this the based game "Medieval II - Total war" that started ?
All my others mods launch correctly even the oldest versions of this mod but not the 1.6 and i tried everything which means:
-Re-install correctly the full game and the mod at least 5 times
-Copy, paste and rename medieval.exe to the kingdoms.exe thing
-Use "TESTW launcher" and "The_Elder_Scrolls.bat"
-etc...

I copied the medieval2.exe launcher, renamed it to kingdoms and also tried kingdoms.exe and it still says it can't find kingdoms.exe

I`ve done 100% correct with the instalation, but I get a message when I click "play" on the launcher, and it says; "Windows cannot find `kindoms.exe. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again."
I`ve Medial II on disk D, and the mod.

Hi, I have an issue with this version of the mod. The UI is a total mess, I can't play the campaign. The menu doesn't work, I can just see cities and their names, the Ui is just made of white squares and other things are coloured squares. The old versions worked fine... I installed the fix but nothing changed. I have steam version. pls help, thank you

everytime i try and play as the orcs the game crashes!! help pleeeaase *orc lives matter*
The mod wont launch. It takes me to the first loading screen then CTD.
I have noticed a crippling glitch with house redoran. When fighting in battle all my soldiers stamina will not come back for the whole battle no matter their level of tiredness. Makes fighting with the redoran long and taking horrible losses.
cant play as the orcs on campaign... it crashes all the time. i might be able to go through some turns if im lucky.

hey guy's so i did the download and made sure it was all there. But when i try to play the mod it is miss the button's and back grounds. can some one plz help i love the mod and happy to know there was a new update.
