Dawn of the Tiberium Age (DTA) is a stand-alone mod that combines Tiberian Dawn (C&C 95) and Red Alert. While classic mode gets as close to the original game-play and balance as possible, Enhanced mode provides improved game balance and a lot of fun new stuff. DTA features many customization options for Skirmish and multiplayer (where you can play as GDI, Nod, Allies and Soviet on over 200 maps), challenging original singleplayer missions, as well as co-op missions. Since this is a stand-alone mod, you don't require anything but the mod itself to be able to play: the original game is not required.
A new 5-player map by me (Tiberius).
It's a large map with big open waters, meant for epic naval battles. There's a lot of harbor towns with goodies in them, and one of the small islands also has a secret.
Originally made for 5-player FFA, but can also be played 2v2 with the middle island up for grabs, or even 2v2v1 since the middle player will have a stronger eco.
Why do I feel like the player in the middle will be at a big disadvantage?
If you ain't got skill, like me, you're indeed surrounded.
If you're Rampastring, you're strategically positioned to attack in every direction.
It really depends on the other players. In a FFA he has enemies on all sides, but it's also true that if the others just leaves him alone all game he'll spiral out of control.
