Dawn of the Tiberium Age (DTA) is a stand-alone mod that combines Tiberian Dawn (C&C 95) and Red Alert. While classic mode gets as close to the original game-play and balance as possible, Enhanced mode provides improved game balance and a lot of fun new stuff. DTA features many customization options for Skirmish and multiplayer (where you can play as GDI, Nod, Allies and Soviet on over 200 maps), challenging original singleplayer missions, as well as co-op missions. Since this is a stand-alone mod, you don't require anything but the mod itself to be able to play: the original game is not required.
Another new model by Flame, this time for the Allied Hovercraft Transport. As you can surely tell, it's based on the Hovercraft Transport from Red Alert, but unlike the original it can actually rotate.
Neat!
The non-rotating version could be given for classic mode though.
Maybe TD factions had no navies except GDI gunboats, but even Nod used hovercrafts for troop transport, and on the maps that need them badly they could be deployed from war factories.
Oooh, cant wait to see GDI and Nod's transports
They already made for the GDI one, but we will see what the NOD transport would look like in the next update.
Nod transport looked the same, just GDI used it much more
Though if someone is going to get a different hovercraft it's probably Nod due to their experimental character.
On the other hand, Nod relies more on hydrofoils as their gimmick, and GDI had their own "special" hovertech in TS.
Maybe their LST specialty could be improved land speed compared to other transports...
The Octagons of Death look funny now, that they can turn. As if something is wrong, because I have seen them static for such a long time.
Very cool! :D
