After more than 4 years of development, the first mission from the Crucible of Omens campaign is out. This mission itself didn't take 4 years but rather it is one that emerged from materials culled from the other campaign missions. Far from being wonky scraps, the resultant mission is actually as large or larger than most of the other in-progress campaign missions. It is also far more polished so the team will need to work that much harder to match it's quality.
This mission easily demonstrates the larger size and scope that Thief 1/2 players were hoping to see from Thief: Deadly Shadows so it caps another milestone in The Dark Mod's inclination to illustrate what Thief fans wanted from a new Thief style game.
