A patch to convert a TDM 2.04 install to 2.05. You may use this along with the other patches here at Moddb to go from the 2.0 Standalone version to 2.05.

i r confussed do i need to be on v2.04 or can i just install this from v2.0 ?
You need to be on 2.04 to use this.
You can download the 2.0 Full, then use the
2.0 to 2.01 patch then
2.01 to 2.02 patch then
2.02 to 2.03 patch then
2.03 to 2.04 patch then (finally) the
2.04 to 2.05 patch here.

Yeah the one that comes with the Dark Mod, the tdmupdater downloads the latest version of the downloader in order to update the game. You can always get the latest version of the updater here: Thedarkmod.com for Windows, Linux and Mac OS X.
