Flame Glare Mod addon - The Dark Mod (Standalone) for Doom III

This is a small override package that will make Torches and other Fire emitters glow.

It uses similar glare particles to those already applied to Candles in TDM so it will make

the look of flames more consistent.

Similar torch glares were made for the updated "Thief's Den 2: Chalice of Kings"

but these are toned-down a touch.

Install Instructions:

Either:

1) Copy into your darkmod install Directory

or

2) Copy into your darkmod\fms\name_of_mission directory

This works well with almost every mission but some missions might have glow leaks

through walls (etc) which is why option 2 might be the best. Sotha's missions are particularly

well suited to this.

Also, particles are expensive so this isn't for weak systems (sorry).

Update!

The particles have been tuned to virtually eliminate wall leaks. This should work well for all missions now!
