Half-Life: The Core is a classic retelling of the events surrounding the Resonance Cascade disaster from a new perspective. Featuring intense action, complex puzzles and believable narrative through all-new locations in Black Mesa with remarkable visual fidelity, pacing and humour.
The (hopefully) finished version of the Central Administration Building's main stairway.
It's undergone a lot of minor tweaks, as well as some major based on your feedback of the original screenshots I posted last year.
Textures have been dirtied by popular demand, lighting has been tweaked, brushwork and entities have been excessively optimised and it's been compiled with VHLT.
Wow looks awesome :)
The edges of the Black Mesa logo look a bit odd to me, doesn't really work.. also the paint at the bottom is dripping, such a thing would not be only just painted on and any spillage like that would be cleaned up before the paint dried!
Only crits I can possibly thing of, the rest is excellent!
Yeah, nice work, but D3ads is right, the Black Mesa Logo bugs me. It looks like sprayed on the wall.
Personally I think "The only way to find the limit is to go beyond it" or something along those lines would be catchier. Right now, it's a very long slogan.
Agree with D3ads on the logo, seems like it would be more professionally done. I am also not really feeling it with that brick texture. Just feels too fake, needs some type of dirt and stain, but not extreme.
Not sure if Half Life 2 mod or Half Life 1. -.-
It says at the top of the pages silly ^_^
You really recognize the VHLT compiler :)
Very nice work!
