While Caldera is supposedly a rich, flourishing, important town in Vvardenfell with its ebony mines and Imperial presence it has very little to offer. A few quests here and there from the Governor and of course the Scamp. He really defies all logic but he's there, so there he shall stay. Albeit in much better surroundings. Everything in the town is to be bulldozed to make way for new development. All the models for the housing will be replaced with new ones. Everyone will get their own place and there will be streets and ally's.

Where do they all come from? Who makes these things? Why is it never explained?

This is something that has bugged me since the first day I played. I remember saying "Wow. There are a lot of candles in this game. Where are the made?".

In medieval times every town had several candle makers and some manors even had their own chandlers living in the manor. Morrowind on the hand has none and no one ever mentions where they all come from. Of course I could have put something in an NPC's dialogue like "We're awaiting another shipment of candles from the mainland" but.... I decided that if I'm going to rebuild an entire town I might as well explain away one of the many things that needles me.

Enough of that. Here are some screen shots (on a very miserable day in Caldera)

Currently a brewery is being contemplated but that depends on remaining space.

Always good to see some unique places like this, giving the impression of a living world where not everyone is either a trader/smith or quest giver.

Hopefully I will be adding all the unexplained things as I go through the Imperial towns lol. It's a fair bit of work just adding one so don't hold your breath.
