A story of doctor Albert Wennelmann who goes to a journey to find his fatally ill brother Alfred, who is lost somewhere in the castle of Wennelmann. The Wennelmann castle´s current count has claimed the ownership of the castle by conspiring with some means that no one knows about. Nothing is what it seems.

Hey folks!
We have been working really hard to make this work. We are glad that we launched the beta because it was really useful to see what is wrong and where in the game.
This mod should now be quite stable version, but of course there can be various bugs and glitches still i.e the hammer/chipper combining still can bug with someone, but as I have said before, in our systems everything works just fine. If you however have this hammer/chipper combining problem don´t worry you can use just one of the items, but we ask you to test it before you go ahead with just one of the items. It is a quest in the game, so please find both of the items.
If something goes wrong no matter what it is, please contact us, and we´ll see what we can do.

I can't get this mod to launch. Using The Brotherhood Launcher.bat brings up Justine. Did the newest A:TDD update break it?
My walkthrough (Part 1):
not baad! i still don't know what are the 3 files this mod overwrites (one maybe the terror sound), so i reinstalled my game after playing this to be sure it is uninstalled. this fc mod has well made atmosphere and puzzles. it could have done better sometimes, in scares details and events also, the bilboards were a bit ugly, and it was mostly a key hunt, but it was a challenge in which i had to use my brain, so i quite enjoyed it, 9/10, thank you ^.^
I'm unable to play this. I placed the CS over a fresh install of Amnesia and every time I launch from the .bat, the game crashes to bug report. It doesn't make it past the launcher. Any ideas?
Did you unrar it just to "redist" and not into "custom_stories" folder, because if you put it into "custom_stories" folder it wont't work? What OS you have, because if you have MAC this mod will not work due the fact, that ".bat" is solely for Windows OS.
I have Amnesia on Steam and installed The Brotherhood in the same way I install all full conversions (unzip to redist equivalent). I'm using Windows 7 64bit. This is the first time I've had this error with custom stories/full conversions.
This is the error I get in the bug report:
Amnesia.exe caused an EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION in module Amnesia.exe at 0023:005A3D12
I have tried reinstalling Amnesia and placing the custom story over a fresh install twice and it still fails to work. I have verified my files through steam before and after installing the custom story and there is no difference.
Hmm... weird. I can't say for sure why it's doing that, but my guess is that it is bugging because of the Steam folder where you put it. I don't know why your other CS/conversions work and The Brotherhood won't. It should work on Steam also. I personally don't have Amnesia on Steam so I can't be sure if that is the problem. Maybe the .bat file tries to get the starting info from "redist" and can't find the info from there because its installed somewhere in Steam files. Again I'm not sure and these are just guesses. I'm really sorry if this doesn't help you at all, but I'm also amazed by this.
