The Battle for Middle-earth II: Passion is a modification of The Battle for Middle-earth II: Passion for PC.
The modification is currently made for the latest patch, 1.06, I haven't tested it out on other versions, but it's easy to upgrade to the latest patch.
The modification hasn't really got a current theme, right now it's just expanding the game, mashing some of ROTWK and other aspects of Middle-Earth into the game.
Some heroes will have new powers, there are new units as you will see as a screenshot. I am still thinking of adding Arnor (or Rohan) as a seperate faction from Men, but we will see down the line as they stay as a part of the Men faction.
There will be new maps, not many though. This modification isn't an extreme modification with lots of new powers, units, factions, but hopefully upon it's release you will enjoy it.

I want to play online, the servers are shut down so we will have to play LAN, we can use Hamachi for this, for messaging me for a game we can use steam.

you can play online with/against me and hopefully others
I'm just looking for people to test the game out.

Hi, does anyone know how to slow this game down. I've been asking everywhere and for days and no solution. I upgraded my PC to an enthusiasts PC with fast video card and now the game plays like its on speed even on Ultra High graphics settings. The game plays too fast to be any fun anymore. How do I slow it down a bit so I can enjoy it??
C'mon this is a serious problem. I have no idea how everyone else can play and enjoy the game nowdays even though people state that they are.
It's something do you with whatever you upgraded, that's the problem and I'm not a hardware guy, know 0 about hardware stuff.

i've bought a new laptop this january , thats not a problem it's fast because your comp is fast thats all .

Laptop doesn't have the graphics power of a radeon 6750. Not sure if I have to Disconect the card to play the game. I tried booting using onboard intel graphics but the game was still too fast.
You think it doesnt : Intel CORE i7 2.8GHz , GeForce 1GB card , 700GB HD . it's fast as lighting (6 Hard AI's kill me in 5 Min's).Anyway i don't know should you disconnect it , you can ruin your comp . I put it on Ultra High and it's like Action game not like RTS.:)
So what is the soultion? I have tried disconecting my graphics card and using task manager reducing the affinity to just one processor. Now i'm reducing my physical RAM from 8gbs to 4gbs. Someone said the game is supposed to run fast but seriously 24 second farms and 22 seconds for production of archers has to be too fast. Comments?
Well , i don't know :( . Anyway GET AS MUCH VIRUSES AS YOU CAN , might work as time passes , for ex : my comp was fast 4 years ago , but now it's like s*** . Trust me you don't wan't slow comp .
Well no obviously I don't want a slow computer or why would I have paid so much for a new fast one. I can play newer games on it quite fine. Problem is for old favorites like this game it's not so fine.

Dont forget to edit the string file , there are exellent tutorials on third age net.
I haven't forgotten to add the string files, the spell is not finished, I'm hoping to add mist to when they are spawned... and into right formations.
But I will also expand onto the evil factions as well.
The easyest way would be to add things from some mod like rohan mod on ME Vault , many Arnor adding mods .

There's already lot's of Rohan stuff in the game which would be easy to give to a porter, but that's just the beginning of things ect ect. Then there's the A.I to make, which would be a pain, so doing the minor things first, but yes 3 factions in 1 faction is a big wedged. Glad you enjoyed it, I'm not a very good bfme2 player lol.
Thanks, I have no plans to do Angmar right now. Right now I'm just trying to add small things, then expand onto bigger things, taking it at a step at a time not getting overwhelmed.
Tracking , the pics are good , Rohan and Arnor should be separate Factions. Adding Angmar would be the best :))))
