The AAVP-7A1 is the main USMC (United States Marine Corps) amphibious transport, it will be available in the Naval Mode for the US Navy/USMC faction.
It's equipped with a M2HB .50 caliber machine gun and a Mk19 Grenade Launcher for self defense while it carries troops ashore for swift landings.
The "Naval Mode" which was referred on the vehicle description will be further explained later on.
But I can assure it won't be "just" standard amphibious maneuvers like crossing rivers or small lakes, it'll be something MUCH BIGGER Hehehe...

Yup, it will be mainly deployed from Amphibious Assault Ships ingame.

Question - Are the skins going to switch depending on the course? IE. The desert courses have the desert skin.
Yeah, model skins will be adapted to the environment of every mission (forested environments: Woodland camo; sandy terrain/deserts: Desert Camo, etc.).
Although there are some models (specially aircraft) which are going to maintain their regular skins on every environment.
On desert maps, the player must select a quick upgrade which will then turn all his vehicles to adapt desert terrain, this is if he chooses, if he wants he can keep the green/woodland vehicles, this is just for looks as it doesn't affect your game play. if the player does select the upgrade, so will the AI with it's vehicles. by default the vehicles are green/woodland
