The 45th Platoon is a mod based on the war in Vietnam. The goal of this mod is to put you into the hellish battle that was Vietnam. Though we know nothing can compare to the actual feelings that took place in the Vietnam War, we hope to do it justice.

Do you think new weapons and maps will be released each release to keep players happy?
In short, yes. Long, we will only put weapons in that were actually used at any point in the Vietnam War, so eventually there won't be any new weapons to release. Maps obviously are endless, but it's hard to predict between releases what might happen in terms of time. I am fairly sure new maps would probably make it in between long releases though.

Yes.. Of course there will be fitting sounds as well as other stuff that create a realistic jungle atmosphere. Phantomas (the mapper) has a lot of experience with jungles maps cause he had 2 other vietnam mods before.

that jungle map just ozzes atmosphere, i love how the mapper catpured the element of the jungle, and there better be eiary sounds and noises or it would ruin it all.
