So as everyone that has played 1.4 FarCry will know, the AI can both see and shoot through tents. This issue is specific to the 1.4 version. While there are fan patch(es) that deal with this, this seems to be the first time that any seller has shipped a fixed version.
FarOut Widescreen users playing GOG versions can now skip installing the "Tent AI Bug Fix" as it is no longer needed. Those playing copies from other retailers will still need it.

It fixes AI seeing through tents, but it doesn't fix AI seeing through WOODEN HOUSES on the islands. They see through several wooden walls and one-shot.
An important fix, that should be installed on all Far Cry patches that come without it !
