From improved loading times, further polish and the first inventory concept, 2.9.1 begins the implementation of the last major design goal for TF2V.
What's new in 2.9.1?
-Fixed an error regarding the medic's syringegun not rendering the muzzleflash when shooting.
-Fixed the phong lighting/shininess on sign textures.
-Fixed incorrect signs being used on certain maps.
-Added missing weapon sounds found in earlier versions.
-Second pass to fix missing assets in maps. (ie: the airboat in lakeside, the Tux dolls on snowplow)
-Fixed error with texture on Engineer's level 3 sentry.
-Implemented optional particle system from 2.5 onwards as default particle system.
-Changed blood effects from retail TF2 to SFM TF2.
-Commentary files changed from .wav to .mp3 format.
-Assets are now in .vpk format for faster loading.
-cp_cloak removed from maps directory and maplist.
-Hitsound volume in settings changed from slider to string value. (from 0.00 to 1.00)
-Jpg screenshots now bound to F12 by default. (change bind using your autoconfig.cfg file)
-Added non-boss Halloween maps to maplist. (viaduct, maple ridge, lakeside, harvest, sunshine, manor)
-Original TF2 developer commentary added with working commentary bubbles on main menu. (AI in demonstrations somewhat buggy!)
-First loadout system concept added to menu screens. First weapon concepts implemented. (Can be disabled by servers in the server.cfg file)
