Tangerine Touch: Lantern Mod for Amnesia: The Dark Descent

Tangerine Touch is mod that replaces the original yellowish lantern from Amnesia and replaces it with a warmer tone of orange. The light of the lantern has been completely reworked for it to cast shadows and with the addition of an updated texture as well.

It comes with three different versions:

New Lantern [Cast Shadows]:

This version casts dynamic shadows in relation to the lantern position, it concerns with field-of-view and shadow quality to find a middle ground, as a result the radius of the illumination is lower than the original to offer a balance in-between atmosphere and illumination.

New Lantern [Simple]

This version is intended for low performance computers that may not be able to handle shadows being cast, it may prevent your game from dropping frames while playing on top of having a better area of illumination due to lack of restrains given by casting shadows.

Classic Lantern [New Colors]

This version simply keeps the original lighting from the vanilla lantern and adds the new warmer tone of orange.

New Texture:

This mod also replaces the old, plain texture and uses an updated version reflecting the new orange lighting, available for all versions of the mod.
