"Make Peace or Die" “Talon 1-5” is a story-driven single-player and co-op mod that aims to combine realism and combat tactics with a science-fiction environment. It will put players into a war to end all wars where they will have to think in order to survive. Taking inspiration from history as well as imagination, we will strive to tell a story about the infantrymen and women of the early 22nd century and how they must persevere for survival and victory like all the Marines who preceded them. The story centers around an 12-man special forces squad, codenamed “Talon” attached to the 1st Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment of the United States Marine Corps. As our world once again sinks into war, Talon 1-5 becomes part of the Battalion Landing Team for 31st MEU. The Chinese officer (rank of Captain or above) is
a rare sight on the front lines. Out of proud
bravado, they tend to not wear the standard PLA
tactical helmet and rather don a beret cover as
well as the monocular command HUD. They also have
a lot more ammo holder belts, as one of their
responsibilities is to carry extra ammunition for
their troops. They burden this load in exchange
for the utmost respect and obediance from their
subordinates.
The beret, however, makes them easy to spot and a
headshot will more often than not be an instant
kill. If you can identify and take out an officer
in amongst his troops, it will cause panic and
disorder among the rest of his company, and give
you a decided morale advantage in battle.
I dig it, any special Captain weapons? Tactical Katana?
Hmmm, it IS a thought...we'll get back to you on that.
cool cool :D
The face doesnt look that chinese
Racist...lol j/k
We went fairly generic on the face, but, since the body models are going to have a modular head system, it is irrelevant what the face looks like for the concept, heh.
"Tactical Katana"?? You do relize a Katana is a JAPANESE weapon, not Chinese. And if you can think of a way to make a sword tactical in this day and age, I'd like to hear it.
Too true Talraga, but some kind of ceremonial weapon might be a nice touch. Nothing that is actually useful but, something small and symbollic perhaps.
Commie bastards. lol
maybe a combat knife?
