Tales of Wenda first news

Her skin was white as the snow, and her eyes were shut as if she was
sleeping. She could not see anymore, yet somehow he knew she felt him
there by her side. The beautiful helena, his great love had been pulled
to the grey halls and his heart was broke. Now it was filled with
emptiness, but deep within the darkness the flame or their love still
burned strong. His voice echoed through the empty halls as he sang her
lullaby. Inside he wished that she would be awakened from her sleep so
that he could feel the warmth of her embrace once again.

Wenda was a young man, but he knew love as good as anyone. Raised
in the land of heroes he knew that each man creates his own fate. In a
battle there is always a winner and a loser, and even if the
circumstances might be against you everyone has a chance to win if you
have something worth fighting for. When he felt her soft skin against
his, he knew that he could win that battle and wake her up from her
deep sleep. A light cool breeze blew through the empty hall. The
ancient stones had battled the hands of time for ages, many generations
of men has been born, raised and died here throughout history. Would
this be the end of a once so great kingdom?

Now the kingdom is corrupt and from what once was a great palace
merely ruins remain. Hope had abandoned the people and when no one came
to their rescue they turned to the darkness. The return of Walan Sul
brought the darkness upon them and those that did not bend were forced
to flee or face their death. He came from the north and brought the
winter with him, now the green fields and hills were covered with snow,
a wave of cold biting winter had been swept across the land. Minions of
darkness populate the dark places of the world and the few humans and
elves still living in these areas struggle each day for their survival.

The great menace Walan Sul once swore that he would not die until
all the kingdoms of men would have fallen into darkness. Kings have
fallen and so has Hengist, and all of his kin. But Helena his daughter
proved great resistance against the powers of darkness and Walan Sul
did not manage to kill her. Instead he cursed her to eternal sleep. Helena is the only threat against him and he knows it. Now she rests in
her fathers old palace on a stone altar. People believe that since she
has proven such strong resistance against the powers of Walan Sul she
is the only one that can defeat him. If someone could just unleash her
from the sleep she has been bonded to…
