Please dont make simple doors that go just up, I hate that.
But awesome cops and everything, love them.
Can some explain what is meant by '... simple doors that just go up' ?
I think he wants multilayer doors which very hard to escape with a nice/complicated opening and closing animation
Or in layman's terms: "Not the stock HL2 door, but something custom made to really fit the futuristic environment."

I assumed he meant doors that slide up, but the doors in this picture are regular swinging doors so idk
Doors that slide up are dumb, in theory, because they would have to interefere with whatever is "above", in the construction of the vessel. Doors that split sideways, would be better to achieve a "futuristic" feel, because all they do is slide inside of the walls.
