TA:Enhanced aims at making Total Annihilation's gameplay faster, while preserving and even improving its standard in terms of strategy. It adds several units to the game, all carefully balanced and polished, in spite of the current "alpha" status of the project. This mods also adds plenty of new sounds and visual effects, with many that are totally new in the world of TA. It should be noticed that all weapons are 100% unique, both visually and technically. It also features a system of factions, which is entirely meant to make the gameplay more interesting, allowing each race to choose between different technologies (still in alpha at the moment). TA:Enhanced is also about giving TA greater visuals, with many OTA and 3rd party units carefully retextured using more modern textures and more coherent lightning. Current version: alpha 0.7h

I remember played old version long time ago, and tried fresh one, which available to download, and got same issue with naval units and building which are blocked from build, their icons are grayed and they can't be build.
A question...in the campaing mode the units dont shot =/
I have question, I downloaded 0.7h version and tried skirmish with it, I found what all naval, hover and amphibious vehicles and factories are unavailable to build, this is intended, (maybe you blocked them because they unfinished at this moment?), or this is a bug? Overall mod looks very interesting and promising, I like upgraded models of old units and new units looks great too, especially these faction ones like Phaser or Krogoth.
I installed version enhanced alpha 0.7h but every time I start a game it crashes saying this: "objects3d\amdrocket.3DO". people say it's because you don't have the (legit) core contingency, but I do have that insalled. help!.
this mod is quite nice but it needs some more air units & naval units + hovercrafts. Also theres something i believe to be a bug : some of the amphibious units can shoot while underwater (and basically wreck your entire base while being impossible to hit)
Naval units and hovercrafts will come, but not before a few couple of months. For now, I really want to balance the different factions and give them some more ground and air units. I also need to implement proper T4 units (will be done in alpha 0.8).
The unit shooting while underwater you're refering to is probably the Mammoth Demolisher (the big amphibious tank). However, as long as you can see parts of it, it's possible (but clearly harder yes) to destroy it. And if the barrel is still underwater, then it simply won't shoot at ground units.
i see. well hopefully there'll be some kind of counter to the demolisher (i think some mod had a cool defense that was on ground but shot torpedos into water, based on the advanced torpedo launcher in base game, maybe a short/medium range defense on ground or floating would be nice.)
this mod instantly crashes (totala.exe has stopped working) after loading textures, both in 0.4 and 0.5 versions no idea why. (i always use a clean install of TA + expansions whenever i install mods)
Wrong install is the reason why few people cannot run this mod... please read the readme carefully, as everything is well detailed.
welp apparently installing the unofficial patch seems to have fixed the problem
