This mod is the spawn of playing many strategy games and my somewhat warped sense of reality and fun. It is currently for Command and Conquer Generals Zero Hour, but may later be moved to Supreme Commander or Command and Conquer 3, all depending on whether I have the money to buy either of these games when they are released, and whether I am happy with how the mod is coming using ZH.
Now to the fun part: TW is a mod that strives for realism(but will probably fail due to the need for balance) and the use of tactics. There will be a lot of different factions consisting of several real world countries, and a few invented entities that I think might be fun to play with. TW is set in a time frame about 10 to 15 years in the future in order to allow several different weapon systems time to be made operational IRL. Some units that will appear in the game are the F-22A, the Su-47, M1A2, T-80, J-10, as well as several Iranian made units.
Game play will require the use of tactics rather than just unit spamming. This means that your RPG-7 will not be shooting down my strike fighters blowing the crap out of you barracks, but your tank's cannon will be able to murder my infantry.
Currently the factions consist of the US, Russia, China, EU, Iran, and a few other that will remain secret until i finish their unit lists. Our mod team is steadily expanding and we are getting quite a team together, however, modelers, skinners, coders, and mappers are still needed for a complete and finished mod as soon as possible.
