Tacos Mod contain 25 new missions, 47 new weapons, rifle-grenade-launchers, flame-throwers, missions set during winter, 11 new items, 25 new ammunition types for firearms, over 60 new textures & more. The mod lean towards historical accuracy, but focuses more on game-play with missions both completely fictional & some loosely based on real events. If anyone think this is worthwhile & want to help out just PM me. Also feel free to give me feedback & your thoughts on the mod.
New content coming in Alpha-8.
Bottom line, left to right: PPS-43, PPD-34, AVS-36 & Avtomat Fodorova.
Upper line, left to right: M1914/30, RGD-33 & RG-42.
Bottom line, far right is the MP-41, it finally has it's own texture.
This time I wasn't lazy & actually made inventory graphics.
Another thing I did that isn't worthy of it's own image: I made scope-less versions of the G-41 & SVT-40 inventory/lower bar graphics. No more scopes appearing on non-sniper weapons.
Why are the in-game models so bad in this game? (in general not just these)
The game is from 2004 & in vanilla you're not able to zoom in this far. Most people would have had much lower resolution & with the vanilla zoom it was pretty difficult to see the low poly count.
The rifle model is almost only a single triangle.
But if you have some graphic skills, SleepyDoggo, don't hesitate to improve the visual aspect of this unmatched game ...
That is exactly what Suffskin is doing with his mod named Soldiers - Heroes of World War 2 (HD Project).
The main advantages of a game are its playability, its appearance can always be improved.
But (even the most recent) **** remains a ****, even with the most beautiful graphics !
Cheers.
