But that's an entirely different context, he was comparing it to a pattern. What Swyter meant when he said "This is the exception that proves the rule" was that this is the reason why he doesn't want to post any heavy WIP screenshots.
I doubt he meant, as the person on the site explains, that this rule is a pattern, to which the exception proves the rule correct.
So post other WIP ;]. New places, NPC etc.
