For traps, you can look under the door with optiwand to see the trap on the door. For door locks, that is something we are thinking of adding.

This mod is broke. When I play the game the trunk at the title screen is all black. There's no texture. And when I play the missions. All the vehicles in the levels are all black with no textures loaded at all. Can someone please help me fix this.

Thanks for all your work Ezzstreet, its great that someone is supporting this still. Quick question, I have that windows API for voice recognition and all the stuff it says i need in the readme for speech to work, however its still grayed out in the options menu, I see the green tick pop up at the start, but nothing works, any ideas? (win7 64). Thanks.

In your SEF/System folder, there is a file called SpeechCommandGrammar.xml. Open this, and find a line that looks like this:

<GRAMMAR LANGID="409">

Change the number here to be 809 so it reads:

<GRAMMAR LANGID="809">

And see if that works. That's a theory that we're thinking might be behind it not working on certain machines.

Sorry for the double post! I meant to post this here. So we both have 5.2 installed. If that helps.. I guess we need to use outside software like gameranger?

Hi! Thanks a lot for the mod! Love it! Bit of a problem though.. i tried to play with a friend and after installing this:

We finally found some servers and were able to play few rounds. But when i tried to host a game (or friend did) we can't seem to be able to connect each other? Used whatsmyip.com for our ip and firewall isn't the problem.. Any suggestions? There are only few servers with your mod out there and even fewer that actually work :D

So long story short.. we're not able to connect directly in swat or in the expansion or with your mod. Both have Gog.com gold editions..

Hello,

I'm grateful for this mod but I'm having a few issues so far. The biggest one being with the Fall In order.
When I give this order and then start engaging a suspect, the AI will stop where it stands (and shoot back if in range) until I give them another order.
It only happens when I take point, if I tell them to move & clear for ex., everything is fine.
Do you have any idea as of what would be the cause ? Had any other reports of the same problem ?
Often, the AI misses its grenade throws and it just bounce off the wall they're stacked up on right back to their (and your) faces aswell as not properly stacking up on doors and glitching on each other.
Sometimes the AI gets stuck in doors too and will just chill until the end of the mission.

I've also had problems with regular shotguns not blowing up locks even after a full mag dump on the poor door.

I can't use the voicerecognition since my OS is in French (I'll try the fix mentionned ITT).

Another issue I have is a choice you made to have C2 and snipers penalizing you. I think it was already the case since Snipers are glorified spotters in this game but sometimes (usually bathrooms), suspects are locked and physically block the door, the only way to entering is then to blow them up and lose score because of that.
Unless there's another way I'm missing, this is quite frustrating and unfair since I can't even tell them to get down through the door.

CONCERNING THE SPEECH COMMANDS :

I did my homework and changed the LANGID of the SpeechCommandGrammar.xml to my country's ID (40c in France) thanks to that table Msdn.microsoft.com(v=office.14).aspx
Couldn't it be possible to have it check the System language and change this value ? Maybe include it with the .bat that launches the mod ?

Hello,

It works if you replace LANGID to your OS' language's ID according to the SAPI tables here Msdn.microsoft.com.
So yes I can now use it, it's a bit wonky sometimes (I can never get them to C2 or shotgun, grenade, and clear for ex.) but hey it's pretty cool.
