This is an addon for the mod SWAT - Elite Force. The objective of this mod is to add varieties of every piece of equipment to make the game feel fresh everytime you play.
HugeOfficerVarieties (HOV) is a mod made by the user TargetAcquired, his main goal was to add new pieces of equipment to the game to add variety in terms of aesthetic and functionality. The mod adds more than 20 pieces of new headgear and also 4 varieties to every type of body armor in the game, including the ones added by SEF v7. My goal was to port the mod to the most recent SEF update and fix some issues that the mod had like some headgear or body armor not protecting at all, adding item descriptions and names, etc. Another new additions are a new uniform for the player character and a fixed sleeve texture in first person to match this. I suggest changing the name of the mod's folder to SEFHOV in case you want to play the original SEF.

How was it created?
Did you re-compile souce from both modes? Or overwriting the original .u SEF files, but changing swatequipments?
I edited the swatequipment.ini file and i added the static meshes and classes from the mod
It is strange, then I do not understand how it works. I made new helmets in the same way without compiling the swatequipments.u file.
I wonder how it will work with the skins.

I meant to combine your mod and the "add helmet" mod by the author of the Munt into one mod. This would be a very great addition. Well, if you can add the animation of lowering the night vision device to the eyes of the squad members, it would be just fine.

The mod is interesting, but in missions, the fighters have one skin-the squad leader. And on a helmet with a night vision device, when it is activated, the squad members do not use it.
The skin from the Squad leader is due to a bug that happens when you assing the same loadout you have to your team, and the night vision can't be used by the ai because is not programmed to do so, but maybe it can be fixed

This is basically SEF with new equipment. BFHL is another mod and if i recall a compatibility patch has been made but for SEF 6.4
You need to make another archive, where the unnecessary files will not be stored. (You need to remove unused files from the archive) Nowadays a lot of files overwrite vanilla files > very difficult to combine with other modes.
Yeah, i did that in the past, i did It this way so people can have this and the original SEF without replacing the original folder.
However i Will provide a folder with the source files in case that someone wants to use them in a mod
They are really needed. If you replace all SEFHOV, you will have to redo all the mod, which has accumulated a lot.

No, rename the provided folder as SEFHOV, then yes, drag it into your SWAT 4 folder

How do install this? I dragged the SEF folder from the archive(not the contents in the folder, just the folder itself) into my swat 4 folder, i renamed it SEFHOV and I keep getting the "you've made a grave mistake" error even though I didn't drop any of the contents into the main swat 4 directory.
