The premise
behind it is a little iffy, like if it will be multiplayer only or single/multi(Co-op modes) that sort of thing. Maps will vary from Hostage Rescues, to VIP escorts, to go and sweep out the bank robbers. These will all hopefully be CO-OPable, depends how things work out. There will be the use of "body Armor" flak vests and kevlar vests, so a shot in the center of mass wont kill but injure, and of course headshots are a must. The maps will be dynamic enough that snipers can pick their men off but at the same time assualt groups will not have to be affraid because there will be over hangs and doorways to hide in. the object behind the game will be to kick ass, the more baddies you kill the more weapons you can acquire, such as a carbine which will have armor piercing bullets so if the NME is wearing a armor plate it doesnt matter. (There will be upgrades for the armor too).
The Details
I have compiled a list of weapons (24 or so) used by SWAT teams across North America, where this will most likely be based. I have already started on a few skins and models myself and plan on learning how to script, Also have created sketchs of possible locations and have reference photos of some situations i plan on using. For the Upgrades you will start at basics no armor peircing ammo, limited chest protection, no helmet, and sidearms. You can upgrade any of these, since there will be night missions, maybe NV's, Oh flak is flying around? Do good enough and maybe you can get yourself a helmet...pesky snipers...how about you use a mirror too look in doorways before you pass...there is so many possibilities.

Unreal is no way realistic and Cstrike is first of all the guns, cstrike has em beat there. Then theres graphics. Again Css wins, in css a head shot with any weapon is a auto-kill, plus 2 -3 shots to the torso usually kills someone. don't get me wrong I like Unreal too. but it CANNOT be compared to a realistic game like counter strike
