So starting Monday I'm going to be very busy. I will still be working on the mod in spare time, but expect less updates from me and less activity on my page here.
I'm a little disappointed as I was hoping certain features other people are making would be done somewhat soon but it doesn't look that way. Because of that I'll be releasing the next version without any big new shaders, particle effects, or maps. There's not much I can do about that.
Because of this I'm simply dubbing the next version "1.4".
2.0 will still happen, but it depends on the above factors when I can do that.
1.4 will have certain features for 2.0 disabled in the release, and it will be on vanilla maps.
However, I have built it on top of the Russian Second Way mod, which I've modified a bit. It adds some new quests, and other things which should make it less boring to play the default maps and missions all over again. I'd attempt adding some SGM missions too but extracting anything from that mod is a nightmare. I'll keep trying though.
I'm definitely not ready even for a beta but I have made good progress.
I really hate giving estimates for release but since I won't be around too much soon I'm just going to give an estimate of November/December so I don't get bugged.
I wish I could release it now but it wouldn't be much fun in it's current state.
2.0 will still happen and when it does it will be big and I'm going to take my sweet time making it perfect. If Lost Alpha gets released sometime this century I may even end up porting it over to that.
