Sven Co-op for Half-Life 2, sequel to the popular Sven Co-op mod for Half-Life, will add co-operative multiplayer (players vs. computer-controlled enemies) to Valve's "Half-Life 2" (Among other things). Sven Co-op, the original Half-Life co-operative mod, is currently the most popular co-operative modification in the world, with over 500,000 recorded downloads of Sven Co-op version 3.0. Sven Co-op for Half-Life 2 will benefit not only from Half-Life 2’s highly advanced engine, greater volume of content and extensive feature set, but also from new and innovative gameplay resulting from four years of experience with the genre. Among the new features will be the ability for mapmakers to create their own game modes, and features to make gameplay more rewarding. Sven Co-op HL2's Gordon Freeman player model.
Model by by DoktorAce, skin by DoktorAce and
TeddyBear.
(Update: Shot updated with some texture improvements)
Gordon Freeman in the flesh...or should I say in Svencoop 2. :D
The head looks a little too round for my liking.
But, other than that, very nice indeed.
They never seem to get his hair right!
lol :D
it looks good, but I think it can look a lot better. try to make him look exactly like on the cover cept a lot less polys :P
AWESOMENESS!!
Makes you wonder why Valve decided not to do it.
Wow
All that work :/
hawt
Screw less polys. Go for 30k. Maybe the latest graphics card can take it on to just loo at him, but it would be worth it.
...or not.
But still, this engine can handle the polys, so go for it. And his head lacks a lot of shape to it. I'm hoping to see more improvements :)
No that wouldn't be worth the lag Lomo.
he looks like he is hunched over
move his head back a bit and raise it up (giving him a neck)
Great and the timing is perfect, i should have my comp updates by the time this comes out, either way i like the fact you guys are making a pre-set list of models, no more of those Awkward team up's, (e.g G-man and homer simpson teaming up to kill grunts)Great work guy's keep it up
this model deos'nt need anything..except a neck
he is not hunched over, that is the suit. and his head is fine, it is just a different angle. you can also see that he is aging if you look closley, you guys need to see things in a different perspective.
all in all its good i just dont like the part in his hair
i personally like the art on the box the whole 'messy' hair and stuff
