  • Jump jets enabled on most jump jet capable mechs. Used with the teleport command. Jump distance was converted from hex to meter range.
  • Updated text pop up to include Radar, BAP, ECM, and weapon ranges in meters for all units.

So the readme file goes into details on exact installation but this is the section you're looking for: "Installation:

Works with the latest Steam version of Supreme Commander.

Copy over Supreme Commander Forged Alliance mods folder:
C:\Users\[your PC profile]\Documents\My Games\Gas Powered Games\Supreme Commander Forged Alliance\Mods\

(If you don't have a Mods folder in you Supreme Commander Forged Alliance folder in your documents folder, then make one)

Once placed your directory should look like:

C:\Users\[your PC profile]\Documents\My Games\Gas Powered Games\Supreme Commander Forged Alliance\Mods\Supreme Mech Commander

If you're in skirmish you can press ctrl-shift-f1 to hide the UI, rather than minimising each element, so you don't have the little arrows around the edge.

Also, you can get proper smoothing groups on unit models if you seperate out each smoothing group to it's own element within an object, then also make sure they aren't touching in the UV. Without both of those things you end up losing hard edges, and things that are supposed to look nice and boxy end up looking like amorphous blobs.
