String is a short little custom story made for Amnesia the Dark Descent. You play as Henry, an old king who returns to his once underground fortress. But he soon finds out that those he left behind have been waiting for him all these years. If he succeeds he might be forgiven.

YOU NEED JUSTINE IN ORDER TO PLAY THIS CUSTOM STORY! This is the full version of the custom story "String" for Amnesia the Dark Decent. Feel free to comment on any bugs/issues you might be having and we'll do our best to adapt. HOW TO INSTALL: Simply open the zip file with Winrar, 7-Zip, or whatever other unpacking program you may have at your disposal. Now drag and drop the folder "The String" into your Amnesia "custom_stories" folder. Now start Amnesia The Dark Decent and on the main menu you'll find Custom Stories, click it and select String. Enjoy!

I really liked it! But just one thing: please add subtitles! It makes it so much easier to understand what the characters are saying.
And it was short! I wanted more! Haha, but i really liked it! :D

Holy hell your mapping was awesome! Although I almost never get scared of an Amnesia cs, this one gave the spooks :D. The ending was a little weird to me for it was so quick.

I am so addicted to this "gamestartup01" music file you have put (the one that plays in the background when Henry sees the blown-up bridge and adds a memento asking himself if he was the one who did this). Did you make this soundtrack? I can't seem to find it anywhere, though I can see that part of it is from "Sinister - Never Go In Dad's Office". I just wish it lasted longer.
