This custom story is not actually half bad, except for the struggle in the storage regarding the complete darkness and limited oil. However, it has serious problems with the valves in the sewers and the pressure control room. After I turned the three valves in the sewers, I forgot about the fourth one located in the pressure control room and went straight to the engine room. After putting three pieces of coal in the furnace and replacing the missing cogwheel, the engine started just fine. But pulling the lever in the elevator did nothing and the game said "...the machinery behind it isn't working" although the engine had actually started. After returning to the pressure control room to turn the valve I had forgotten about, the valve was stuck and couldn't be turned. I reloaded the autosave after returning from the sewers. The valve in the pressure control room was still stuck. So I reloaded the sewers and the map was completely broken. All three valves were stuck and even the brute that appears upon entering the sewers didn't work correctly, it spawned but didn't move at all. Reloading an autosave BEFORE entering the sewers worked. I entered the sewers, turned the three valves, went back, turned the fourth valve, went to the engine room and started the engine. Then the elevator worked fine.
Hi, just a suggestion - you should rename the "Extra_English.lang" file to "extra_english.lang" because if you leave it like this it will be broken on case-sensitive systems (Mac/Linux). I thought it's a tech demo or a joke when I was doing a let's play video on it because there was no text and after I gave up I realized the reason for zero text was missing extra_english file. Renamed it to lower-case and it started working fine. Thank you.
The basement is very short of oil.
I can't start the machine. and I don't know what else to look for in the basement.And it's not clear how to get into Pressure control Room. Give someone a complete walkthrough of the mod!
the engine doesnt turn on. game ending bug
UPDATE: i started the entire cs over...what i did went to pressure room First, then i went to machine room and put everything together.
So i finally got it to work and elevator...but now when i get off the elevator you cannot pull the inventory tab for flash lite ,health notes etc.??? seems i finally finished the cs...went though window etc.
only thing didnt get to use was old lab key
You could use laboratory key in storage, it opens optional room with note in there.
And I'm so glad you're finally go pass this stupid engine! ^u^
PLEASE HELP...put 3 coal into furnace, put cog wheel ON, went down to pressure control room, turned 4 valves. pulled both levers >>> ENGINE ROOM i hear the fire burning but engine wont start? I tried to revisit the pressure room but theres a invisible force preventing me to go down so i could recheck? SO ELEVATOR DOESNT WORK
I test this thing some more times and for me it all works fine. BUT because people are still having not good times with it I'm adding video about it. My hopes are it would help or else I would not have any other choice except to rewrite whole script(which I realy don't wanna do ;n;).

I cannot watch your video for some reason. There is no picture or sound.
I understand that and did that :( Question does 4 valve's or any special order and do all have to be turned left cause i did that too? (3 + 1) valve if you know what im referring about
probably you're done them right, because all of valves are hard scripted so you can't go back without turning them on(first valve unlocks second, second unlocks third, third lets you go back, then forth).
Even more difficult that I can't get same problem so I can't find reason behind it.
I'll try ask my friend to test it. It would take some time but I really REALLY hope I could fix this. '^'
unless there's a sequence not to g0 in engine room first and do what you showed in video, perhaps need to go in pressure room first...i dont know. been a long time member with these cs mods so be great if you can check. BTW this cs is really been fun and a challenge, so would be sad if i cant continue
Try to restart your game and then, you have to ignore the engine room first until you operate all the valves in the sewer. That's what I did and it works fine.
