Set in an alternative history universe in which the grand European empires of the early modern era never fell. With almost the entire planet dominated by these empires, Stormaktstiden takes place between the years 2017-2021, and focuses on the 'Second Great Northern War' between the Swedish and Russian Empires as well as their respective allies.
'The Stridsvagn m/91 is a Swedish main battle tank developed and manufactured as a joint venture between Bofors and the Swedish government entering into service in 1996, five years after its initial conception in 1991. The Strv m/91 is a highly advanced tank and is often regarded as one of the best, if not the best, in the world. By 2017, it has undergone many upgrades, mainly in regards to its modern computer systems and advanced mechanics. Armed with a 140mm main gun, a 40mm secondary auto-cannon, and two machine guns (one coaxial and the other mounted on the top hatch), the Strv m/91 is a beast in combat. As of 2017, the Swedish Imperial Army operates over 500 Strv m/91s alongside its ageing fleets of earlier Stridsvagn models. It saw widespread use as the main Swedish battle tank during the Second Great Northern War where it was highly successful against Coalition armour and infantry.'
Will be the standard Swedish MBT featured in the mod. Identical to the real-world Cold War prototype; the Stridsvagn 2000 T140/40.
